Mondays and Wednesdays 3+ hours weekly instruction
Section 1:  1:45 - 3:15 pm / Section 2: 3:30 - 5:00 pm
*With advance notice, a class time may go 10-15 min longer for an activity, game or test day. 

Classes begin for new students: Aug 20, 2018 / Continuing students Aug 22, 2018

Classes are held in the Allied Gardens/Grantville area of San Diego.

Pre-requisite: Proficiency with Pre-Algebra concepts. Pre-class placement evaluation available. Students who are close to this level may be able to fill gaps as they go, if they are willing to work hard to so. Ask the instructor if in doubt.

Tuition $400 per semester + one time $25 material fee (no curriculum purchase required)

 This class uses selected AGMath materials written by Jason Batterson in lieu of a formal textbook. Mr. Batterson retired from teaching high school and currently writes math curriculum for the Art of Problem Solving organization.

Materials: Instructor provides a Student Binder of AGMath handouts and a Note Taking Guide that students will complete throughout the year in place of a textbook. A TI-83/84 Plus series graphing calculator is recommended after the first 12 weeks, or if funds do not allow, www.desmos.com may be used at home. A graphing calculator may also be rented for $10 as available.
